The Oklahoma City Thunder cruised to their 15th consecutive win, recording an emphatic 131-101 victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday (PH time) at Delta Center. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s did not affect the Thunder, who improved their overall record to 23-1.
Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams carried the scoring cudgels for OKC after Gilgeous-Alexander missed the game with an elbow injury. Holmgren and Williams each scored 25 points for the Thunder, who claimed their 12th away win of the season.
The Thunder dominated the contest right from the get-go, outscoring the Jazz 45-20 in the first quarter. OKC made history during that period, setting a new franchise record for most threes in a quarter with 11.
Kyle Filipowski scored a team-high 21 points for the Jazz, who fell to 8-15. Taylor Hendricks and Walter Clayton Jr. added 20 points apiece for the home team.
