The Denver Nuggets secured their third consecutive win on the road by defeating the short-handed Charlotte Hornets 115-106, extending their impressive away winning streak to 10 games. The Hornets were without their star player, LaMelo Ball.
The first half was a tightly contested battle, with the Nuggets trailing by one point at halftime. However, in the third quarter, Nikola Jokić showcased his superstar caliber, delivering a well-rounded performance with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in the period to help the Nuggets seize control of the game.
Despite a resilient effort from the Hornets in the closing minutes, the Nuggets' superior talent ultimately allowed them to maintain their lead and secure the victory.
Both of Denver's key players delivered outstanding performances. Jamal Murray led all scorers with 34 points, including a dominant first quarter where he scored 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting. Nikola Jokic contributed a near triple-double, finishing with 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists.
For the Hornets, forward Miles Bridges led the team with 24 points, along with 9 rebounds and 8 assists.
The Nuggets will face the Sacramento Kings next on December 12, while the Hornets will take on the Chicago Bulls the next day.
