Kevin Durant has been removed from the injury report and is officially available for the Houston Rockets' upcoming game against the Utah Jazz, as reported by basketball journalist Bradeaux.
In a post on X, Bradeaux stated: *“Kevin Durant is officially expected back for the Rockets after his 2-game break.”*
Durant had previously missed the Rockets' games against the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors due to personal reasons. In his absence, the Rockets secured victories in both contests. Since joining the Rockets this season, Durant has continued to perform at a high level, averaging 24.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. He has maintained efficient shooting splits of 48.5% from the field, 36.4% from beyond the arc, and 88% from the free-throw line, resulting in an impressive true shooting percentage of 60.8%.
Speculation regarding Durant’s absence circulated online, with some sources suggesting it was related to his mother Wanda’s health, while others indicated he may have been away for the birth of a child. Neither of these reports has been officially confirmed.
