Karl Eldrew Yulo concluded his third FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships campaign on a high note, snagging a bronze in the horizontal bar on Monday at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
The 17-year-old Yulo captured his second bronze after garnering a score of 14.000.
Yulo initially tallied 13.900, which was briefly adjusted after receiving a 0.100 bonus that put him in second place.
He eventually settled for third behind Colombia’s Camilo Vera, who topped the event with 14.533, and American Danila Leykin, who scored 14.233.
Eldrew, the younger brother of two-time Olympic gold medal winner Carlos Yulo, also secured a podium finish in the floor exercise final, finishing third on Sunday.
