The Memphis Grizzlies used a decisive late-game surge to pull away from the Dallas Mavericks, 102–96, at the American Airlines Center on Sunday morning (Manila time).
With the game knotted at 96 in the final 1:10, Memphis clamped down defensively and strung together a 6–0 run, holding Dallas scoreless over the last 70 seconds to secure the win.
Playing without Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., the Grizzlies leaned on Santi Aldama, who delivered 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists to anchor the offense.
Klay Thompson led the Mavericks with 22 points in the loss.
Memphis (5–11) returns home for a matchup with the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday (Manila time), while Dallas (5–12) looks to regroup when it faces the Miami Heat on the same day.
