The Milwaukee Bucks edged the Dallas Mavericks 116-114 in a nail-biter in the 2025-26 NBA regular season on Monday (PH time) at the American Airlines Arena.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with another productive performance of 30 points and eight rebounds, Myles Turner chipping in 14, while Ryan Rollins and AJ Green added 13 each.
Down one with under a minute left, top overall pick Cooper Flagg fearlessly drove through Giannis’ defense for a contested layup to give Dallas a 113-112 lead. But Rollins responded with a quick layup off Naji Marshall’s defense, putting Milwaukee back on top 114-113.
On the next possession, Kyle Kuzma stole the inbounds pass and converted an easy dunk, extending the Bucks’ lead to 116-113. PJ Washington had a chance to tie after drawing a foul on Giannis, but missed two of three free throws.
Flagg shone for Dallas, finishing with 26 points and nine rebounds. The win improved Milwaukee’s record to 7-4 as they prepare for back-to-back games against the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday and Saturday.
