The Golden State Warriors eked out a 118–117 victory over the Phoenix Suns to snap a two-game losing skid and remain unbeaten at home this Wednesday (Manila time) at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Stephen Curry led the charge with 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Moses Moody provided a huge lift off the bench, contributing 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Golden State’s reserves outscored Phoenix’s second unit, 63–19.
The Warriors built a 25-point advantage before the Suns mounted a furious rally to cut the deficit to just seven early in the fourth quarter. Golden State held its composure down the stretch to secure the narrow win.
Devin Booker paced the Suns with a game-high 38 points, but his efforts fell short as Phoenix dropped to 3-5 while the Golden State Warriors improved to 5-3.
The Warriors will continue their homestand on Thursday (PH time) against the Victor Wembanyama-led San Antonio Spurs, while the Suns return to Arizona to host the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday.
