The Los Angeles Lakers drew closer to clinching their first-round series against the Houston Rockets, building a 49-31 halftime lead in Game 6 of their Western Conference Playoff showdown on Saturday (PH time) at Toyota Center.
LeBron James scored a game-high 18 points for the Lakers, who got off to a strong start, building a 23-18 lead after the first quarter.

The Lakers then took full control in the second quarter, outscoring the Rockets 26-13 to grab an 18-point lead at the break.
Rui Hachimura added 10 points for the Lakers, who have lost back-to-back games after securing a 3-0 series lead.
