The Minnesota Timberwolves stamped their class in Game 3 of their first-round series with the Denver Nuggets on Friday (PH time), recording an emphatic 113-96 victory in their Western Conference Playoff showdown at Target Center.
Ayo Dosunmu scored 25 points and dished out nine assists off the bench for the Wolves, who grabbed a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. He shot 10-for-15 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line.

Five other players scored in double figures for Minnesota, including superstar Anthony Edwards, who dropped 17 points on 6-for-15 shooting. Jaden McDaniels also wreaked havoc, posting a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
The Wolves started off strongly in Game 3, racing to a 25-11 lead after the first quarter. Minnesota continued to pile on the pressure in the second quarter, extending its lead to 61-39 at the half to send the home fans into a frenzy.
The Timberwolves never looked back after that, holding a double-digit lead throughout the second half as they moved to within two victories of securing a spot in the 2026 NBA Western Conference Semifinals.

Nikola Jokic led the way for Denver, scoring 27 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in a losing effort. Jamal Murray struggled offensively, scoring just 16 points. He shot 5-for-17 from the floor, including 0-for-5 from beyond the arc.
