Charles Tiu has been named the new head coach of the Phoenix Super LPG Fuelmasters.

The team announced the hiring on Monday, confirming that Tiu has officially accepted the offer.

Tiu replaces Willy Wilson, who was let go after just one conference following the Fuelmasters’ failure to make the playoffs in the Philippine Cup, where they finished with a 3-8 win-loss record.

The appointment marks Tiu’s first head coaching role in the PBA, although he is no stranger to the league, having previously served as an assistant coach, most recently with Converge last season.
